Robert Treman Clendenin (born April 14, 1964) is an American actor known for portraying Carl Dawson in the TBS series 10 Items or Less and Roy in the failed pilot turned Internet series Nobody's Watching.
He also appears in a recurring role as oncologist (and sexual deviant) Dr. Zeltzer in the TV series Scrubs, and the aptly named Slow Roger in My Name Is Earl
He has appeared as quirky characters in numerous shows: Ugly Betty, That 70's Show, Felicity, and Desperate Housewives.
He also appeared in a commercial for Jack In The Box.
Clendenin also starred as devil-may-care Ted in the 2008 film short Daryl From OnCar. This short was produced for WGA-affiliated StrikeTV, a site created to benefit crew affected by the writer's strike of Nov 5, 2007 - Feb 12 2008.
Clendenin graduated from Cornell University in 1986.

In his guest appearances in "That '70s Show" (1998), his character Earl always blamed his dog for arriving late for work. He later appeared in a commercial, for Carfax, in which his dog is driving his car and sinks it into a lake.
