"Revolution" is a song by The Beatles, written by John Lennon and attributed to Lennon-McCartney.
The song appeared in two distinctly different incarnations, a raucous electric "Revolution", and a slowed acoustic "Revolution 1". A third connected piece, the heavily experimental "Revolution 9", appeared on the same album side as "Revolution 1" on The White Album. Both were on the second side of the second disc.
"Revolution" is a pop rock song written and produced by Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida for The Veronicas' debut album The Secret Life of... it was released as the forth single in Australia on August 7, 2006 in conjunction with their 'The Revolution Tour' of Australia, which commenced on August 4, 2006. The "Revolution" video features footage from The Veronicas' Brisbane concert in August, 2006, and also shows some footage shot backstage and of fans in the crowd.
"Revolution" is the name of a song performed by the London psychedelic rock group Tomorrow. It was first released on a single in the U.K. by Parlophone in September 1967 and later on the group's self titled album Tomorrow in February 1968. The song is credited to Keith Alan Hopkins (better known as Keith West) and Steve Howe. Though Tomorrow's song was not a hit the group was well known to insiders of the London music scene.
Several different recordings of the song have been released by Tomorrow. The 1999 CD re-issue of their album also includes a previously unreleased studio demo recording of the song. This version does not have the orchestral overdubs but instead has some great phasing effects not heard in the later recording. Both were recorded at EMI's legendary Abbey Road Studios in London in mid 1967. Tomorrow performed this song for John Peel's radio show on the BBC and there is also a live recording on the album 50 Minute Technicolor Dream.
"Revolution" is a song written and performed by Jars Of Clay. The song is the third of four radio singles released in promotion of the band's The Eleventh Hour. A live version of the song can be found on disc two of the 2003 double album, Furthermore: From the Studio, From the Stage.
