The hero, a supposed lunatic, has been wrongfully locked away in a lunatic asylum by the Master of the Asylum, who hopes thereby to seduce the hero's wife. The hero escapes, rushes to his home and snatches up his daughter, but she is then killed by a bullet meant for her father. He then grabs a gun, and aims at the Master, but succeeds only in killing his wife, who gets in the way of the bullet. The hero is recaptured, but escapes again, and is chased to the top of a cliff. A desperate struggle ensues, and four warders are hurled over the edge. The hero dashes back to the asylum, where he comes upon the Master seated in the garden. The hero attacks him, is overpowered and handcuffed, but breaks loose and strangles the villainous Master with his bare hands. He is loaded with chains and led away. Written by Peter Yorke
