Redemption, released in 2004, is an American film by director Jose Garofalo.
It explores the interactions of five troubled characters who meet while waiting at a bus terminal.
The plot of this film is not far afield from the scandal of star Nesbit, Evelyn's real life, in which her husband murdered famed architect Stanford White in retaliation for his presumed affair with Nesbit.
Thaw, Russell is Nesbit's real-life son.
Five strangers arrive at a bus terminal, each carrying a dark secret. Unresolved issues including crimes of passion, greed and murder haunt them. Assisted by an obscure and stoic Trailways clerk whose behavior vacillates between guardian angel and arc angel, the characters learn to right past wrongs, fulfill their appointed destiny and claim Redemption. Written by Claire Wilson
Original French title is undetermined.
Released in the US as a split reel along with the documentary Oxford to Richmond (1911).
