Pump-Pump was the Finnish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1976, performed in English by Fredi & Ystävät. The song was performed eleventh on the night (following Greece's Mariza Koch with Panayia Mu, Panayia Mu and preceding Spain's Braulio with Sobran Las Palabras). At the close of voting, it had received 44 points, placing 11th in a field of 18.
The song is sung from the perspective of a man explaining to his lover that his days of watching "beautiful girls go by" are over, and that she is all he needs. Of more interest, though, is the chorus featuring the dance instruction "Let your hip go hippety pump pump", one of the nonsense lyrics for which the Contest is often criticised (as well as providing some of the inspiration for parodies such as Monty Python's "Bing-Tiddle-Tiddle-Bong").
It was succeeded as Finnish representative at the 1977 Contest by Monica Aspelund with Lapponia.
