Prudence "Prue" Halliwell, is a fictional character who appeared in the first three seasons of the WB television series Charmed, and was played by actress Shannen Doherty. Doherty was a cast regular and Prue one of the three original main characters, the Charmed Ones. She featured first in the opening credits for the first three seasons; apppearing in all 66 episodes of those seasons, before her on-screen death in 2001.
