The protagonist's name "Dupah" means "ass" in polish.
This movie was intended to star Eddie Deezen as Dupah. He dropped out of the project, and his scenes were re-written as flashbacks for the character of Sphincter.
The actors worked for free. Most of the extras were members of the crew and their friends.
Most of the interior castle scenes were filmed on a set built in Steve Dorsch's garage.
The pool party scene was filmed in Steve Dorsch's back yard.
The budget for the entire movie was around $2,500.
The voices were all re-recorded in a studio due to the poor sound quality of the cameras. Many of the voices (including Sphincter and Dupah's father) were done by Mark Pirro.
Bobbi Dorsch wore a wig for her role as Misty.
The bats on Dupah's pajamas were hand-drawn by Mark Pirro.
