This was a movie specifically designed to be used at a Busch Gardens Williamsburg attraction, located in the Globe Theatre. The film debuted in 1999, and held its last showing at the close of the 2002 operating season. It will be replaced at the opening of the 2003 season with R.L. Stine's Haunted Lighthouse 4-D.

The movie is currently (March 2007) being seen in Busch Gardens Tampa Bay using the title Pirates 4-D.

This 3-D film has been used in SeaWorld, Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia.

This show is now (March 2007) being shown in 4-D at Seaworld San Antonio Texas.

This movie is no longer playing in the Dolfinarium in The Netherlands. It was cancelled in December 2006. The lead role was dubbed in dutch by Ernst Daniel Smid, a famous opera singer.

This movie is also an attraction at the Luxor in Las Vegas, showing as "Pirates 4-D"

The movie, under the name "Pirates 4-D" is also used as part of an attraction at the theme park Thorpe Park, just outside London, England.

The movie, under the name "Piraten" is also used as part of an attraction at the theme park "Phantasia Land", Bruehl (near Cologne), Germany.

And this movie, under the Dutch name "Piraten" is also used as part of an attraction at the sea-animal park Dolfinarium Harderwijk, in the Dutch place called Harderwijk. The movie has been dubbed in Dutch by a unknown cast.
