Peter Franzen is an English journalist, currently editor of the Eastern Daily Press, a position he assumed in 1993. He previously held roles including executive editor of that title and editor of the Great Yarmouth Mercury, having joined their publisher Archant in 1971.
He was awarded the Order of the British Empire in the 2004/2005 New Year Honours list.
Peter Franzén (b. August 14, 1971, in Keminmaa) is a Finnish actor who has acted in more than 40 movies and TV series. Of these, the most famous are Kuningasjätkä, Rukajärven tie (known as Ambush in the USA), Mustan kissan kuja, Badding, Emmauksen tiellä, Rölli ja metsänhenki, Kuutamolla, Pahat pojat, Koirankynnen leikkaaja and Matti.
He has also had roles where he has had to speak in German, English, Swedish, Estonian and Hungarian. Franzén had a role as a Russian corpse in one episode of CSI: Miami, and more recently was cast for a small part as a police officer in the movie Cleaner by Renny Harlin.
In 1999, Franzén moved to Los Angeles with his actress wife, Irina Björklund, where they have lived ever since.

Served Finnish army as a sniper.
Used to be a car cleaner in the early '90s in Helsinki, Finland. Allmost burned his face while waxing an old porsche 944 with an electric buffer.
