Paul Anthony Thomas (born 5 October 1980) is the bassist of the band Good Charlotte.
Thomas was born Waldorf, Maryland. He started out on the guitar, but then a friend influenced him to play the bass guitar. Paul attended La Plata High School in La Plata, Maryland with Benji and Joel Madden, but was expelled after threatening to punch the principal in the face. Thomas has known the Madden twins since they were young children, and fellow Good Charlotte member Billy Martin since he joined the band in 1998.
Thomas plays five stringed Lakland basses. He has stars tattoed around his left calf, representing members of his family with his being outlined in blue.
During a performance at Brisbane, Australia on October 9th, 2007, Paul broke his ankle during the third song. Afterwards, bandmate Benji played a couple of acoustic duets with his brother Joel. Once thought fit, he returned to the stage and continued to play, but stayed seated for the performance. Joel can be quoted to saying - 'Paul has broken his ankle, and we kinda need to get to the hospital sorta soon. So we'll play a handful more songs'. At this announcement, the spectators erupted, because there was a feeling that the show would be cut short.
Philip Toubus (born in Winnetka, Illinois), better known as Paul Thomas, is an American pornographic actor and director. He is a member of the AVN Hall of Fame and the XRCO Hall of Fame.
Paul Thomas (born May 6, 1982) is an Australian rules footballer currently playing in the SANFL with Central District Bulldogs
After spending years on the Adelaide Crows list as a rookie in 2002, Thomas went back to the SANFL where he worked on improving his game, and he won a Magarey Medal in 2004. The Essendon Football Club picked him up in the 2004 AFL Draft.
The 23 year old was given a lifeline in 2005 by the Essendon Bombers, where he performed admirably given limited game time. However, he was delisted at the end of the season, some would say unfairly.
He is currently the captain of Central District Football Club.
Paul Thomas (born June 3, 1971) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. A real paceman, he made his first-class debut against a team of West Indians for Worcestershire in 1995, after breaking through with a quick wicket. Finishing with match stats of 5/70 on his debut was no shame.
His second season was to prove harder than his debut, and he was released in 1997. Determined to stay in the game, he relegated himself to Second XI cricket with Derbyshire, and though he was only to make one first-class appearance for the Peakites, this was perhaps the appearance which epitomized his career, as he exemplified phenomenal pace and great comfort within the team.
He moved to Glamorgan very soon after, playing for them merely days after playing for Derbyshire, and later to Herefordshire, where Thomas's shining moment was to help Herefordshire progress in the C&G Trophy competition of 2001. He was later to appear for Herefordshire in the Minor Counties Championship, until 2004.
