Paul "Paulie" Michael Teutul (born October 2, 1974) is one of the stars of the American reality television program American Chopper. He co-founded Orange County Choppers along with his father, Paul Teutul, Sr. in 1999. Although Paul sometimes goes by the nickname of "Junior", he is really not a junior, because his middle name is Michael, while his father, also Paul Teutul, has the middle name of John. According to an interview on David Letterman, Paul (the father) stated that he is the junior and the son is just Paul. Paulie is the chief designer and fabricator of OCC, and prior to that was head of the rail shop at Orange County Ironworks. He is also responsible for designing the logo for OCC. Paulie, along with his father and youngest brother Michael Teutul, became celebrities when Orange County Choppers became the focus of a reality television series American Chopper on the The Discovery Channel in 2002 (in 2007 the show was moved to TLC). He has another brother, Daniel who is the general manager and the owner of Orange County Ironworks. He also has a sister, Cristin, who is the youngest of all the Teutul children. She is currently a nurse in Rochester, New York.
Paul started working summers in his father's steel business (Orange County Ironworks) at the age of 12. In high school, he was involved with a Board Of Co-operative Educational Services (BOCES) program which allowed him to improve his metalworking skills. After graduation he joined Orange County Ironworks full time, eventually becoming head of its railing shop. During this time his father began spending more time building motorcycles for pleasure. Seeing his son's talent for metalworking and fabrication. Paul Teutul Sr. and his son formed Orange County Choppers in 1999.
