Paul Maxwell (b. 12 November 1921, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, d. 19 December 1991, London, England, UK) was an actor working mostly in British television and films, where he was usually cast as an American. In terms of audience, his most notable role was probably as Elsie Tanner's ex-GI bridegroom in her 1967 wedding on the long-running and widely popular soap-opera Coronation Street.

He appeared in many of ITC's TV productions, particularly those made by Gerry Anderson's production company Century 21, as these shows had plenty of American roles. He also played the "man with the Panama Hat" in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
