Patrick Watkins (born December 18, 1982 in Tallahassee, Florida) is an American football safety for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, who drafted him in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Watkins played college football at Florida State University, and attended Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Florida. Watkins runs a 4.43 in the 40 yard dash
William Patrick Watkins (Born September 2, 1972 in Raleigh, North Carolina) is a former Major League Baseball player who played outfield for the Cincinnati Reds and Colorado Rockies. He had planned playing American football at Duke after high school and had even talked to, then coach, Steve Spurrier about playing under him. But when Spurrier left to coach at the University of Florida and the coach who replaced him was not interested, Watkins had to change his plan. He went to East Carolina University to play baseball after his high school coach recommended him to the baseball coach there. Watkins made his major league debut on September 9, 1997 against the _Chicago Cubs. After the 1997 season Watkins only played two more seasons in the majors. 1998 with the Reds and 1999 with the Rockies.
