"Party All the Time" was a single recorded by comic actor Eddie Murphy in 1985, written and produced by Rick James. The single reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was his only hit in his music career. The song includes some of Eddie Murphy's falsetto talents, however restricted to a few phrases and a repetition of the chorus. In 2006, _Sharam Tayebi of the group Deep Dish released a remix of the song known simply as "PATT", an abbreviation for "Party All The Time." The subsequent music video is a homage to the original, which had featured Murphy, James, and some backup singers recording the song in a studio.
