Paper Soldiers is an urban crime comedy released in 2003 (see 2003 in film). It stars Beanie Sigel, Kevin Hart, Kamal Ahmed, and rapper Jay-Z appears in a cameo role. It was produced by Roc-A-Fella Films and distributed by Universal Pictures.

Was originally written as a drama. Some of the more serious scenes were filmed but cut from the final print. Such as, Shawn's son finding his gun and pointing it at his mother, Shawn crashing during the chase, and another scene with Shawn crying over the turn of events.
