The Pacific Sun (formerly Jubilee) was a Holiday Class cruise ship built in 1986. At 47,000-tons, Pacific Sun is a medium sized ship, accommodating up to 1,900 passengers from Australia and/or New Zealand. Pacific Sun currently operates on 3 to 14-night itineraries to the South Pacific and Queensland.
Following the recent 2007 Melbourne Cup, during which the ship joined Pacific Dawn, Pacific Sun now sails from her new home port of Brisbane, becoming Queensland’s latest liner. It is predicted that the cruises carried out by the vessel will remain essentially the same.
