Pablo Tell Schreiber (born April 26 1978) is an American actor known for his portrayal of the Polish-American character Nick Sobotka on HBO's Baltimore drugs crime drama The Wire. He appeared in the movies The Manchurian Candidate and Lords of Dogtown. He also had a guest role on Law & Order. He was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in Awake and Sing! on Broadway.
His father, Tell Schreiber, was once an actor. He attended Carnegie Mellon University. His half-brother is actor Liev Schreiber.
Brother of actor Liev Schreiber and son of actor Tell Schreiber. Attended an alternative arts high school in Seattle, Washington, where he played on the varsity basketball team. At school, he played several parts in musicals and dramatic pieces, including "The Ragpicker" in "Madwomen of Chaillot", "Benny Southstreet" in "Guys and Dolls" and "Tevye" in "Fiddler on the Roof". He also played in "Arms and the Man". Pablo attended Carnegie Mellon University's theater program and always aspired to be a professional actor.
