"P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" is a hit single from Michael Jackson's 1982 hit album Thriller. It reached number ten on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S.

The song was originally written by Jackson and Greg Phillinganes and was a mid-tempo R&B jam. Quincy Jones wanted it to be more upbeat so he re-wrote it and it was Jones' version that appeared on the Thriller album.

Jackson's original version of "P.Y.T." can also be heard on disc 2 of Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection. In Thriller 25, the demo is remixed as "P.Y.T. 2008" featuring will.i.am.
