Out of the Box was a Disney Channel show for kids aged 3-8, that took place in a Playhouse made of boxes, where two hosts, Tony James and Vivian Bayubay (also known as Q_id_E_10295Class" target="_blank">Vivian McLaughlin), made crafts, sang songs, acted out plays, and played games with the neighborhood children. The show ran from October 1998 until it was canceled in August 2005. Out of the Box continues to air on _Disney Channel Australia.
Two special episodes were released on VHS by Walt Disney Home Video, "Out of the Box: Trick or Treat," and "Out of the Box: Happy Holidays."
Vivian is now working on several other things.

In addition to being used for tangible products, the phrase is often used in a less literal sense for software, which may not be distributed in any box but offer certain functions "out of the box."

Out of the Box the title of the debut mini-album released by Jade Valerie. This was released on October 17, 2007 as two versions, a CD only and CD + DVD version, the DVD containing the promotional video to Just Another Day
The album also includes Jade's version of "Crush", which was originally done as duet Korean singer Baek Ji Young. Some of the tracks that were thought to have been included were "Living By Numbers", "The Last", "Piece of Love", "Struck", "Ice Cold" and "Feel Alive" and whether these tracks will make the full studio album is yet to be seen.
The album reached #27 on the Oricon Charts Weekly Albums chart.
