"One Wish" is the first single from Ray J's third album Raydiation. Released in 2005, the Darkchild produced track became a national hit, peaking at #11 on Billboard's Hot 100. It became Ray-J's first single to reach the Top 20.
When the single was released in the UK, on 31st October 2005, it became his highest charting solo single to date (apart from his collaboration with Brandy, "Another Day In Paradise"). "One Wish" managed to peak at #26, becoming his first top 30 hit. Despite its slight chart success the first time around, the single was re-released in the UK on 13th March 2006 with a host of new remixes. This time "One Wish" entered the UK top 20, peaking at a very respectable #13.
"One Wish," written by Per Gessle, is the first single released from Swedish pop duo Roxette's 2006 album "Roxette Hits", the first release from Roxette since 2003. Per Gessle describes the song as an uptempo duet. The B-Side is "The Rox Medley" which, prior to this release, has been available on the radio and on iTunes.
