North Pole depot (Wikipedia.org)

North Pole depot was the London, UK, depot for the Eurostar service until November 2007, maintaining and storing the Class 373 Eurostar trains. It is named after the nearby North Pole Road, W10.

The depot site is adjacent to the Great Western Main Line between Ealing Broadway and London Paddington, on both sides of the West London Line, with which it has a connection, which was used for access to Waterloo.

The depot became redundant in November 2007 when the London terminus of Eurostar services moved from the Waterloo International station to St Pancras railway station and maintenance moved to a new depot at Temple Mills, near Stratford International. The depot code is NP.

The depot name has reportedly given rise to the excuse "late running service due to snow at North Pole" (unable to get trains out), which has appeared on several internet sites citing excuses.
