Nestor Serrano (born November 5, 1955) is an American film and television actor.
Serrano began his acting career in off-Broadway plays in the late 1970s; by the 1980s he had shared the stage with Robert De Niro, Wesley Snipes, Matt Dillon and Ving Rhames. His first film was the 1986 Tom Hanks comedy The Money Pit. Since then, he has appeared in supporting roles in films such as Lethal Weapon 2, Bad Boys, The Negotiator, Empire, The Insider, Runaway Jury, and The Day After Tomorrow. He also has an extensive television resumé, with appearances in shows such as Alias, 24, Law & Order, and its spinoffs, SVU and Trial by Jury.
Nestor Serrano, a native New Yorker, started his acting career almost thirty years ago at Queens college, where he was studying computer science. Joining the drama club was his attempt to meet new people - what he found was a lifelong passion for the performing arts. Although Nestor has traveled all over the world, he still calls New York his home. He lives in Manhattan with his wife Debbie, his son Spike and two dogs, Blackie the yellow Lab and Elvis.
