Natalie Ann Cassidy (born on 13 May 1983) is a English actress best known for playing the role of Sonia Fowler in the British soap opera EastEnders. For the role, Cassidy won two British Soap Awards - Best Actress in 2001 and Best dramatic performance from a young actor or actress in 2004.

Her first apperance on Eastenders was on the 21 December 1993.

She has a soprano singing voice.

Natalie presented the St. John Ambulance Young First Aider of the year awards in 2001.

Natalie Cassidy (aka Sonia Jackson) won the Best Actress prize at the 2001 'British Soap Awards'.

She trained at the Anna Scher Theatre School.
