"My, Oh My" is a country-pop song written by Michelle Branch, Jessica Harp, Wayne Kirkpatrick, and Josh Leo for The Wreckers' debut album Stand Still, Look Pretty (2006). It was released to the U.S. as the album's second single and debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 94 in mid-January 2007.
"My Oh My" is the third single released by the Scandinavian dance-pop group Aqua overall, and the fourth UK release. From the Aquarium album "My Oh My" was initially released in February 1997 before being released in the UK as the follow-up to three consecutive number one singles in August of 1998. It is therefore their fourth UK release.
Like many early Aqua tracks, the song featured vocals from both Lene Nystrøm Rasted and Rene Dif. The video for the single featured the four members of the group on a pirate ship, with Lene being captured by the other members (playing pirates) before turning the tables around and taking over. They then go on to discover treasure. The video was one of five Aqua-videos directed by Peder Pedersen.
The single reached number 6 in the UK, making it the worst performing single from Aquarium at that point, although "Good Morning Sunshine", the fifth single, would perform worse and only reach number 18.
