Miracles is an American drama television program starring Skeet Ulrich and Angus Macfadyen as part of Sodalitas Quaerito, an organization that investigates miracles, trying to determine their authenticity. Paul Callan (Ulrich), who had attended seminary but had not taken vows, had previously performed these duties on behalf of the Vatican, only to leave in frustration when he discovered that the Vatican was not really interested in confirming their reports on genuine miracles; during most of the show, their investigations were on behalf of Alva Keel's (Macfadyen) business, which operated much like a detective agency. Central to the show was a mysteriously recurring message that at different points is interpreted as either "God is now here" or "God is nowhere."
The show's executive producer and head writer was David Greenwalt, best known as co-creator of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off, Angel. Despite generally positive reviews from critics and a small loyal following, Miracles failed in the ratings (largely because of ABC's mismanagement of its time slot) and was cancelled after only six episodes. The remaining seven episodes were never aired in the United States. Canada's Vision TV began airing the show on October 3, 2003 and aired all 13 episodes.
The entire series is available on a 4-disc DVD set.

The show is based on an original screenplay by Michael Petroni (II), that had been purchased by Spyglass Entertainment. When Spyglass decided to turn the screenplay into a television series, they hired Richard Hatem to adapt it into long-form format. Petroni and Hatem share credit as the shows creators.
