Midnight Juggernauts are an indie-electro-synth group from Melbourne, Australia.
Their debut album, Dystopia, was released in Australia on August 4, 2007, with an international release to follow at a later date. The album was previewed by radio station Triple J as the "Feature Album". Vincent from the band has provided Triple J with previews for most of the tracks, citing Electric Light Orchestra as one of their influences, a key sound in some of their tracks, particularly Into the Galaxy.
Singles released by the group include "Raised By Wolves, Shadows", "45 & Rising", "Road to Recovery", "20,000 Leagues" and "Into the Galaxy". They also have an EP Secrets of the Universe. Various Songs on various compilations including Modular’s Leave Them All Behind, FBI's Kill Your Idols cd, Kitsune Maison 4, !K7's Tsubi DJ Kicks disk, Cutcopy's Fabric release, Ministry of Sounds Mashed 3, Ajax's Spin City, and more. They've remixed tracks for !!! (chk chk chk), The Presets, Dragonette, Electric Six and Damn Arms. Others who remixed their songs include Cut Copy, Spod, The Presets, Ajax, and members of Wolfmother.
They played at various times with Scissor Sisters, Bloc Party, Mstrkrft, Har Mar Superstar, Annie, Death from Above 1979, Justice, and Electric Six. In September 2007 they were nominated for the J Award by youth radio station Triple J for the Australian album of the year. They also featured twice in Triple J Hottest 100 2007 with "Tombstone" at 86 and "Into the Galaxy" at 57.
