She is not be to be confused with another singer who is better known as recording artist Me'Shell NdegéOcello. The two vocalists know each other well and have worked together before.
• Brig. Gen. Michelle D. Johnson, USAF, who was the first woman to serve as Cadet Wing Commander (the senior ranking cadet) at the United States Air Force Academy

Michelle Johnson (born November 8, 1965) is an American actress, probably best known for her role in Blame It on Rio.

At seventeen, only two months out of high school in Phoenix, Arizona, she was signed by director Stanley Donen for a starring role with Michael Caine (I) in the Sherwood Productions comedy Blame It on Rio (1984). A tall, slender American beauty, Johnson finished school one term early and was preparing to move to New York to start her modelling career when Donen spotted a small photo of her in W, the fashion publication. Her stepfather is a psychologist and her mother is a homemaker.
