Michael Currie is an American actor who has played in several films and on television. He had a role in several Clint Eastwood movies; he played Lt. Donnelly in the 4th in stallment of the "Dirty Harry" film series Sudden Impact and reprised his role as Capt. Donnelly in the 1988 sequel The Dead Pool.
Currie is also known for his role in the 1982 horror movie Halloween III: Season of the Witch as Rafferty. Later that year, he also starred in the Clint Eastwood movie Firefox and co-starred with Eastwood in the 1980 comedy film Any Which Way You Can. His most recent film was G.I. Jane in 1997.
Currie starred in the 1960s cult TV show Dark Shadows as Sheriff Jonas Carter. He has made guest appearances on many TV shows. Shows he has appeared on include Lou Grant, MASH, Barney Miller, Cheers, and Homicide: Life on the Street.
Michael F. Currie (born February 1, 1955 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island in the 1996 provincial election. He represents the electoral district of Georgetown-St. Peters and is a member of the Progressive Conservative Party.
