Matt Walsh (born October 13, 1964) is an American actor, comedian, and pastaferian.

Walsh was born in Chicago, Illinois. His brother is Pat Walsh. He attended Hinsdale South High School, Northern Illinois University and spent a year in Austria at Salzburg College.

Along with Ian Roberts, Matt Besser and Amy Poehler, he was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade and appeared as "Trotter" during its three season run on Comedy Central. Since then, he has appeared in movies such as Old School, and as a correspondent on The Daily Show.

Matt Walsh (born December 2 1982 in Holland, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player who last played with the NBA's New Jersey Nets during the preseason of 2006. Walsh was released by the Nets in October 2006. The 6' 6" forward originally signed as an undrafted free agent from the University of Florida with the Miami Heat. He was waived by the Heat on November 18, 2005. In 2006/07 he played in Olympia Larissas BC, Greece having a successful year for both the team and himself. He played for the _Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Summer League in 2007 and later signed a one-year contract with Ricoh Manresa of the Spanish ACB. Walsh has signed on to finish the 2007-2008 season with Charleroi in Belgium, where he will play along side former Gator Justin Hamilton.

He is currently dating Playboy playmate Lauren Anderson, another former University of Florida alumn.
