Martha Mills Noxon (born 27 August 1965) is a television and film writer perhaps best known for her work as a writer and executive producer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She is a graduate of Kresge College at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Besides her work on Buffy, she co-wrote the 1999 movie Just A Little Harmless Sex.
When the WB television network accepted the Buffy spin-off series Angel, Joss Whedon, the creator and executive producer of both series, promoted Noxon from writer to executive producer and gave her increasing charge of producing Buffy.
Took over from Joss Whedon as day-to-day show runner on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1997) at the beginning of the show's 6th season.
She and David Fury (I) had an all-singing cameo in the episode "Once More With Feeling". She was credited as "Parking Ticket Lady" and sang a brief song about the unfairness of getting a parking ticket.
Was a Theater Arts major at UC Santa Cruz (Oakes College, Class of 1987).
Sister of Christopher Noxon. Sister-in-law of Jenji Kohan and David Kohan.
