Mark Hudson (born August 23, 1951) is a record producer, musician and songwriter living in Los Angeles, California. He was a member of the Hudson Brothers, and has produced albums for Ringo Starr, Aerosmith, Hanson and the Baha Men.
Mark Hudson (born October 24, 1980) is a professional footballer who plays in central midfield for Rotherham United in Coca-Cola League Two.
After failing to make a significant breakthrough into the Middlesbrough side, Hudson was sold to Chesterfield in 2003 after a short loan period there and at Carlisle United. He subsequently made a name of himself as a central midfielder at the Spireites.
Huddersfield snapped up Hudson on a free transfer in June 2005. After scoring a tremendous free kick against Bradford City, Hudson found it hard to cement a place in the Huddersfield central midfield, as he was up against captain Jon Worthington and youngsters Adnan Ahmed and Michael Collins. By the end of the 2005-06 season, Town manager Peter Jackson, started putting him in a holding midfield role.
On January 25, 2007, after several poor performances, the Huddersfield manager Peter Jackson put Hudson on the transfer list and on March 3, 2007 Jackson announced on BBC Radio Leeds that he would never select Hudson or teammate Martin McIntosh again.
Since the departure of Jackson, however, Hudson returned to the side until the end of the season, when he was told his contract would not be renewed and was released.
He was signed by Rotherham United on June 14, 2007.
Mark Alexander Hudson (born March 30 1982 in Guildford, England) is an English footballer who plays for Crystal Palace in The Championship. He wears the number 5 shirt and is a centre half.
Hudson began his career with Fulham but never managed to establish himself in the first team. He spent two months on loan at Oldham Athletic while Iain Dowie was manager there. After Dowie moved to Crystal Palace, Hudson moved back to Fulham where he now began to get small amounts of first team football.
Mark then went on a three month long loan with Palace, helping to secure a Play-off victory and promotion to the Premiership at the Millennium Stadium, before being signed by Dowie for the start of the 2004-05 season.
Despite scoring only his home debut, Hudson has never managed to establish himself in the Palace first-team, with Dowie preferring Darren Ward and Fitz Hall.
Dowie left in the summer of 2006, and was replaced by Palace fan's favourite Peter Taylor from Hull City. It is under Taylor that Hudson had become first choice alongside Leon Cort, also from Hull City, and he has flourished with regular first team football. Under Warnock, Mark has had a flourishing partnership with Jose Fonte, however as players return from injuries, this partnership may come under threat.
Under Neil Warnock Mark Hudson has been his captain due to his brilliant performances and has shown the form that he's capable of doing.
