Man of the House is a 2005 comedy crime film starring Tommy Lee Jones as a Texas Ranger given the thankless task protecting a group of cheerleaders, who have witnessed a murder. Much of the movie was shot in Austin, Texas on the University of Texas campus and also at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. Texas Governor Rick Perry has a cameo appearance in the film as himself. The movie is rated PG-13 for violence, sexual content, crude humor, and a drug reference.
