Malcolm in the Middle is a seven-time Emmy-winning, one-time Grammy-winning and seven-time Golden Globe-nominated critically-acclaimed American sitcom created by Linwood Boomer for the Fox Network. The series was first broadcast on January 9, 2000, and ended its six-and-a-half-year run on May 14, 2006, after seven seasons. An offbeat, laugh track-lacking sitcom about a bizarrely dysfunctional family, the center of which is Malcolm, the middle of the two brothers who still live at home.
