MTV Networks Europe is a division of MTV Networks International a subsidiary of Viacom. MTV Networks Europe launched its first channel MTV Europe in 1987 from Amsterdam, but based in London. MTV Networks Europe is primarily based in London (MTVNI) and in Warsaw (MTVNI Emerging Markets group) with local offices in a number of key regions throughout Europe; Paris, Stockholm, Dublin, Vilnius etc. Since the 1990s MTV Networks Europe, broadcasts various European channels including MTV Europe,VH1 Europe, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, VIVA and TMF channels. Nickelodeon in the UK is broadcast by Nickelodeon UK, as a joint venture between Viacom and BSkyB.
