MTV Live was a U.S. television series that aired from 1997 to 1998 on MTV, featuring interviews with celebrity guests, live musical performances, news coverage, and music video premieres.
MTV Live is the flagship show of MTV Canada, on the air since March 21, 2006 . The program is an interactive talkshow where viewers are encouraged to jump into the conversation. It is the successor to the talktv program The Chatroom.
Viewers can interact with MTV Live in person by sending an e-mail to liveaudience@mtv.ca to obtain tickets, by calling 1-866-536-LIVE or by e-mailing feedback@mtv.ca. MTV Live broadcasts from the Masonic Temple in Toronto, a space which has hosted concerts from the likes of Frank Sinatra, David Bowie, Tina Turner, and as a favourite rehearsal spot of the Rolling Stones.
