Lindsay Jean Wagner (born June 22, 1949) is an Emmy Award winning actress, best known for her role as the original Jaime Sommers in the TV series The Bionic Woman.

Lindsay Elizabeth Wagner (born March 14, 1988 in Omaha, Nebraska) is an American model who is a Playboy Playmate for November 2007. She is a former ring gal for Omaha Fight Club in which her brothers participate. She enjoys watching UFC with her brothers and is taking a break from college while she attends to happenings with Playboy. She also graduated from Omaha Bryan High School in 2006.

Lindsay Wagner was born in Los Angeles, California, on June 22, 1949. Her parents divorced when she was seven years old. Her first career was as a model, but she soon grew to hate it and turned to acting, guest-starring in such television shows as "Night Gallery" (1970), "Bold Ones: The Lawyers, The" (1969) and "Marcus Welby, M.D." (1969). Although she starred in the critically acclaimed Paper Chase, The (1973), TV stardom beckoned when she guest-starred on "Six Million Dollar Man, The" (1974). Her appearance was so well received that she was offered her own show, "Bionic Woman, The" (1976), even though her character Jamie Sommers died on the "The Six Million Dollar Man." Fortunately for Lindsay, Universal Pictures--the studio that made SMDM--had let her contract lapse, and she was able to cut a lucrative deal for herself. She went on to win an Emmy Award for "Bionic Woman, The" (1976), and her talent, beauty and popularity enabled her to parlay that show into a career as the "queen" of made-for-TV movies and miniseries, starring in 30 of them. Besides her Emmy award, she has been nominated for two Golden Globe Awards and a Cable Ace Award.

At 13 years of age, Lindsay Wagner began dance studies, from ballet to jazz. Her mentor suggested that she study to be an actress, and she took to it immediately. Earlier in her career, she was a much sought-after photographic fashion model. She has also studied singing and worked professionally with a rock group but realized acting was her forte. She started off with small roles in acting first, and it was not until she appeared on "Six Million Dollar Man, The" (1974) that she began to be really noticed. Ratings soared when she appeared as "Jamie Sommers" in a two-part episode. Then another appearance on the show led to her own show, "Bionic Woman, The" (1976).
