Libbie Schrader (born as Elizabeth Brooke Schrader) is a rising independent musician based in Los Angeles. She got her first break as part of the band Think of England (then known as The Wash), with whom she won the inaugural Pantene Pro-Voice Competition held in New York City's Central Park on July 19, 2001.
Schrader grew up in Portland, Oregon and moved to California to attend university. She graduated from Pomona College in 2001. In 2002, Schrader and Think of England were chosen to be a part of pop musician Jewel's Soul City Café program, and opened for three of her shows on the "This Way" tour.
Schrader has since gone solo, becoming a featured artist on MySpace in early 2006, and appearing in the Gilmore Girls season six finale.
The internet radio station KGRL featured her as their “Flower-Powered Artist” for February 2007. The feature includes an exclusive interview, CD Reviews of Letters To Boys and Taking The Fall, EP Review of Libbie's new EP, and an on-demand video stream of the Libbie's Birthday Show at the Hotel Cafe last September 2006.
