Let's Go to Bed is the name of a 1982 single by The Cure. It later appeared on their compilation album Japanese Whispers.
In the aftermath of the bleak Pornography, Robert Smith returned from a month-long detox in the Lake District to write the antithesis to what the Cure currently represented. Written as a sarcastic reflection on sexual imagery in pop music, the single was a surprise hit . It was most successful in Australia, reaching #15.
"Let's Go to Bed" is a funk-pop song written and produced by Mustafa "Mousse T" Gündogdu and Errol Rennalls for the No Angels' second studio album, Now ... Us! (2002). It received a positive reception from music critics and was released as the album's third single on November 4, 2002 (see 2002 in music).
The song peaked at number 12 in Germany and number 46 in Austria. While "Let's Go to Bed" ended the run of the bands' consecutive top 10 songs in Germany, it also became the No Angels' first and only single release not to enter the Swiss Top 100 singles chart.
