Kentotis Alvin Foree (born February 29, 1948) is an American actor.
Foree was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He began acting in the 1970s, appearing in the 1976 film The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings and the 1979 films The Wanderers and Dawn of the Dead, a cult horror film. He also had roles in the films The Dentist (1996) and Knightriders (1981). In 2005, he played Charlie Altamont in the film The Devil's Rejects, starring opposite Sid Haig and Bill Moseley, as the adopted brother of Haig's character. Foree also played the role of Roger Rockmore, the father of Kenan and Kyra, on the Nickelodeon comedy series Kenan & Kel.
Foree's upcoming roles include Brotherhood of Blood, Brutal Massacre: A Comedy. He appeared in director Rob Zombie's 2007 film, Halloween, a remake of the 1978 horror film.
Ken will soon be appearing as himself (along with Jim O'Rear, Brinke Stevens, Tom Savini, Debbie Rochon, and James Gunn (filmmaker)) in the new fictional horror novel, Bad Moon Rising, the third installment of Jonathan Mayberry’s Ghost Road Blues trilogy.
Owned a restaurant, Deli Lite, in California.
When playing the televangelist in the Dawn of the Dead (2004) remake, he quoted the same line he said as Peter in Dawn of the Dead (1978): "When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth."
Foree Electronics, the store that employs Shaun in Shaun of the Dead (2004), is named after Ken Foree as an inside joke.
