Brian "Kato" Kaelin (born March 9, 1959) is the one-time house guest of O.J. Simpson who became peripherally involved in the 1994-95 O.J. Simpson murder case and subsequent trial. At the time of the trial, he was an aspiring actor.
Oct 1999 - Settled a $15 million libel lawsuit over a headline in the National Examiner that read "Cops Think Kato Did It." Although the paper says "it" meant perjury, the court didn't agree and awarded in the honor of Kaelin.
Was living on the estate of O.J. Simpson when Simpson's ex-wife was murdered.
Testified at the O.J. Simpson Murder trial.
Received most of his popularity during the O.J. Simpson Murder trial.
Has started a lecture tour titled "The 16th Minute", discussing what happened after his 15 minutes of fame. (1998)
