Katherine Anne Stuart (born March 22, 1985 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian actress who has appeared in over 15 movies, ranging from the obscure (Atomic Dog) to the more well-known (X2). She has guest-starred on numerous television shows as well as appearing in the television movie A Wrinkle in Time.
Stuart was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and has a younger brother, Ted. She shares the same name as another child actress who is best known for her role in the independent film Frog and Wombat. Stuart is best friends with the English actor Steven Webb.

Her career started when she started attending a Vancouver Youth theatre for fun. She got herself an agent and began training at Tarlington Training also in Vancouver. It soon became obvious that training was no longer necessary and Katie went into acting full-time.
Her favourite animals include ferrets, dogs and wolves.
Her favourite films include Singing in the Rain, Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Ready to Rumble, The Matrix and Sting. She is a great fan of films by Mel Brooks. Her favourite TV programs include The Simpsons, Friends, Ally McBeal, MAD TV and SNL. She listens to various music, and there is almost nothing that she doesn't like. Amongst her favourite acts and singers are Savage Garden and Frank Sinatra, although she mostly likes specific songs more than groups and singers. Her favourite songs include 'Pinch Me', 'Wonderful', 'Can't Take That Away From Me' and 'Mack the Knife'. She also likes to read. Amongst her favourite books are the Harry Potter series, the Narnia Chronicles, the Redwall series, 'Call of the Wild' by Jack London and 'Coming Home' by Rosamunde Pilcher.
Katie has a brother named Ted who is 2 and 3/4 years younger than her. Also she has 2 older cousins: Jennifer who is about 3 years older, and Heather who is about 1 year older; and two younger cousins: David who is about 9 years younger and Angelica who is about 13 years younger.
