Josie Lawrence (born Wendy Lawrence, 6 June 1959) is a British comedienne and actress best known for her work with Comedy Store Players improvisational troupe and the television series Whose Line Is It Anyway?.
Born Wendy Lawrence she changed her name when joining the Equity as there was already a Wendy Lawrence there.
Currently voices Duck in CITV series "Dog and Duck" (1999).
Joined the Comedy Store Players then the RSC in 1995.
On "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1988) for 10 years until it moved to the US and then, in 1999, made 2 appearances on the US version of the show.
In 1993, did a run of the Musical Moll Flanders at the Kyric theatre in London, starred as Moll Flanders, it is now out on CD.
Won the award for Glasses wearer of the year in 1993 after the first series of "Outside Edge" (1994) -- it went on to run 2 more series in consecutive years, and a special in Corfu was made.
