Jordan Danielle Hinson (born June 4, 1991 in El Paso, Texas) is an American actress.
Growing up as a dedicated gymnast, Texas-born Hinson began acting in plays at six years-old, which pulled her far away from gymnastics and opened the whole new world of acting. After moving to Los Angeles, Hinson appeared in numerous television commercials.
Hinson made her television movie debut in 2005, starring as an aspiring professional figure skater, Katelin Kingsford, in the Disney Channel Original Movie Go Figure. She had to learn to ice skate for the movie and was trained by Olympic choreographer and two-time Emmy winner, Sarah Kawahara. She also stars in a Screen Gems thriller The Good Mother (2006) opposite Angie Harmon. She is currently cast as Zoe Carter in the Sci-Fi Channel series Eureka.
Hinson enjoys writing in her spare time and has recently completed her first script. She also writes music and is an avid reader. Her favorite book is Airborn.
Jordan Hinson began performing in various local plays at a small children's theater at the age of five and stayed busy doing voice overs and local commercials. At twelve, she made the big move to Hollywood to further pursue her acting career. After doing a couple of national commercials, she booked the lead role in the Disney Channel Original Movie, "Go Figure" to play Katelin Kingsford, an aspiring figure skater. She was home schooled and graduated from high school at 15. She has an older brother named Shaun, who is 10 months older.
