Jonathan Stevens Jackson (born May 11 1982) is a triple Daytime Emmy-winning American actor, known as the child actor who played Lucky Spencer, son of supercouple Luke and Laura on the American daytime drama General Hospital (1993-1999). He also played the lead, Jesse Tuck, in the 2002 film Tuck Everlasting.
Jonathan Jackson (born October 17, 1982) is an American football player. He is currently a defensive end for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. Jackson is from Houston, Texas attended North Shore High School and played college football for the University of Oklahoma Sooners.

Jonathan Jackson (1953- August 7, 1970) was an American black activist from California. He was killed by police after entering the Marin County Hall of Justice with a machine gun to demand the release of his brother, George, from prison. Later that month the Weathermen bombed the courthouse in retaliation.He had tried to drive away but they shot at the yellow van a nd he and others were killed. It was said that his brother George told him to hold the people hostage and no one was to get hurt at all. The plan did not work out and it failed and he was killed.
Jonathan Jackson was raised in Pasadena, California and attended St Andrew's School from 1965-1967 for grades 7 and 8, and then LaSalle High School for 9th grade (1967-1968). He was nicknamed by his brother George "Tha Man Child" because of his tall, manly stature as a teenager.

Jonathan was born in Florida and his family moved to Washington state when he was very young. He started pursuing acting at the age of nine when he and his family visited L.A. for a vacation. His brother, Richard Lee Jackson, started acting first and he followed. Soon after, Jonathan landed a Corn Pops commercial. After that, Jonathan received the role of a lifetime: playing Lucas "Lucky" Spencer on the Emmy Award winning soap, "General Hospital" (1963). Jonathan has been nominated for six Daytime Emmys and has won three of them for his protrayal of Lucky Spencer. Jonathan left "General Hospital" last year to focus on his movie career.
A resident of Washington state, Jonathan gave serious thought to an acting career following a family visit to Universal Studios Hollywood in 1991. His older brother, Richard, made the first move to Los Angeles in pursuit of a performing career, and Jonathan and his mother soon followed. Jonathan got a few commercials under his belt before he was chosen, from several hundred young hopefuls, for the sought-after role of Lucky Spencer. His first airdate was October 29, 1993. Additionally, Jonathan recently made his feature film debut starring in the summer comedy, Camp Nowhere (1994). Although acting is his favorite activity, Jonathan also participates in most sports, including basketball, baseball and rollerblading. He also enjoys playing the guitar. Jonathan, his mother, brother and sister divide their time between homes in the Los Angeles area and Washington state, where his father resides permanently.
