Jonas Brothers is the self-titled second studio album released by the Jonas Brothers. It is their first album to be released under the Hollywood Records label. The album was released on August 7, 2007. "Hold On" was the album's first single, followed by "S.O.S.". The CD was the first to be released using CDVU+ technology.
A bonus edition of the album, titled Jonas Brothers: Bonus Jonas Edition, was released on October 30, 2007. This edition of the album, along with the sales of the original edition, sold over 200,000+. The phrase 'Bonus Jonas' is the nickname used to refer to the Jonas Brothers' younger brother, Frankie, who is not part of the band.
Due to the increasing sales of the album, and the group's growing fan base, Live Nation and the group formed a two year, two millon dollars touring deal. The deal, which is the first of it's kind for an upcoming act, is expected to include over 140 arena dates during the 2 years.
