Johnny Vaughan (born July 16 1966) is an English broadcaster and journalist . Vaughan has become well-known as a television and radio personality and has also built a reputation as a film critic. He is currently the presenter of the Capital Breakfast with Johnny Vaughan on London radio station Capital Radio and also writes a weekly column in The Sun newspaper reviewing recent film releases. He well noted for his ironic sense of humour which some have occasionally found offensive.
In March 2000, it was revealed in The Big Breakfast that he was born exactly at the time when Bobby Charlton scored for England, UK against Mexico in 1966.
(30 April 2001) It was announced at the Montreux television festival that Johnny has signed a "unique" two-year deal with the BBC which will enable him to work on a wide range of TV projects as a writer and performer.
Johnny is an avid supporter of Chelsea Football Club (England). He Travelled to Sweden to see Chelsea win the European Cup winners cup in 1998 and spent the best part of the next day 14th May 1998, broadcasting live on the Big Breakfast morning show with images and details of the big moment in Sweden with his friends.
