John Robinson (7 November, 1650 - 11 April, 1723), English diplomat and prelate, a son of John Robinson (d. 1651), was born at Cleasby, near Darlington.
John Robinson (November 11 1908 - March 6 1979 ) was an English actor, who was particularly active in the theatre. Pixley, p. 18. Mostly cast in minor and supporting roles in film and television, he is best remembered for being the second actor to play the famous television science-fiction role of Professor Bernard Quatermass, in the 1955 BBC Television serial Quatermass II.
John Robinson (born October 25, 1985) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of John McFarland in Gus Van Sant's Elephant and Stacy Peralta in the skateboarding film Lords of Dogtown.

John Alexander Robinson (born July 25 1935 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American football coach best known for his two stints as head coach of the University of Southern California (USC) football team and for his tenure as head coach of the Los Angeles Rams, a National Football League football team. His USC teams won four Rose Bowls, and captured a share of the 1978 national championship.

Robinson, a winger, began his career at Brighton & Hove Albion. In 1992, he moved to Charlton Athletic for a fee of £75,000, where he would spend the bulk of his career. In eleven years at Charlton, he helped the Addicks to two promotions and also enjoyed three seasons of Premier League football. Robinson was released at the end of the 2002–03 season and joined Cardiff City. He later had spells with Gillingham, Crawley Town and Lewes before retiring.
He won Under-21 and full international caps for Wales. Winner of Welsh player of the year, he was committed and a fans favourite. Robinson possessed honesty, determination and grit coupled with a good level of skill.
John Robinson (4 May 1935 - 6 April 2007) was a British sculptor and co-founder of the blank">Bradshaw Foundation, whose work ranged from the figurative to the abstract, and demonstrated immense emotional and intellectual depth as well as a remarkable breadth of perspective. His later abstract sculptures are remarkable for their beautifully crafted and elegant forms which symbolise human values, such as music, science, mortality and the circle of life. Accounts of his work may be seen at the Robinson estate website, the website of the Centre for the Popularisation of Mathematics and the June and July, 2007, issues of Hyperseeing. Among other distinctions, he was the Official Sculptor for the British Olympic Committee in 1988, and a _University of Wales Honorary Fellow, 1992.
John Robinson is a Canadian film and television actor.
John Robinson (1782 - October 8 1828) was a merchant and political figure in New Brunswick. He represented the City of Saint John in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick from 1802 to 1809 and from 1810 to 1816.
He was born near New York City, the son of Beverley Robinson and Susanna Philipse. Robinson was the grandson of John Robinson, former administrator for Virginia. At the start of the American Revolution, he enlisted in the Loyal American Regiment, a loyalist regiment organized by his father. Around 1786, he settled in the valley of the Saint John River. Robinson was named sheriff for Queens County. In 1787, he married Elizabeth, the daughter of George Duncan Ludlow. A few years later, he established himself as a merchant in Saint John. Robinson did not run for reelection in 1809 but was elected to the legislative assembly in an 1810 by-election. He served as acting deputy paymaster general during the War of 1812. He was chosen as speaker for the assembly in 1813 following the death of Amos Botsford and served until 1816 when he was named province treasurer. In the same year, he was named mayor of Saint John. In 1818, he was named to the New Brunswick Council. In 1820, he was named to the board of directors for the new Bank of New Brunswick and became president. Robinson resigned from the Council in 1826 but continued as mayor and province treasurer until his death in Saint John in 1828.

John took acting classes in Portland years prior to his acting debut in this movie.
