John D'Aquino (born April 14, 1958) is an American actor who is perhaps best known for his role as Lt. Benjamin Krieg in the Sci-Fi TV series seaQuest DSV during the show's first season, a role he later reprised in the third season.
D'Aquino was born John Aquino in Brooklyn, New York. He has made guest appearances in a number of notable television series including Baywatch, Matlock, Melrose Place, Murder, She Wrote, Seinfeld, Sliders, Quantum Leap, Xena: Warrior Princess and a few others. He has also had recurring roles in 3rd Rock from the Sun, JAG as a news reporter and Comedy Central's That's My Bush!.
He currently co-stars as President Richard Martinez in the Disney Channel Original Series Cory in the House.
John has one brother and two sisters.
John graduated from Coconut Creek High School in 1976, and went on to attend Florida State University, graduating in 1980 with a degree in theatre. He has trained in a number of places, including Florida, Los Angeles, and New York.
In spite of playing a Hispanic president on "Cory in the House", John is of Italian descent in real life.
Has portrayed a circus performer in both Matlock and Murder She Wrote.
