Sir John Joseph Caldwell Abbott, PC, KCMG, QC (March 12, 1821–October 30, 1893) was the third Prime Minister of Canada. He served in the office for seventeen months, from June 16, 1891 to November 24, 1892.
John Kefford (b. June 5, 1905, in London, England; d. May 24, 1996) was an English character actor professionally known as John Abbott. His memorable roles include the invalid Frederick Fairlie in the 1948 movie The Woman in White and the pacifist Ayelborne in the Star Trek episode "Errand of Mercy".
John Abbott (born 19 April 1945) is a British actor. His television credits include Timeslip, Z Cars, Softly, Softly, Special Branch, Doctor Who (in the serial Horror of Fang Rock), Edward and Mrs Simpson, Angels, Bergerac, Casualty and Wycliffe.
John was also cast by his Director from his Doctor Who story as the Vicar in the early series of Emmerdale Farm and recounts that anecdote on the commentary on the DVD release of that story.
John Abbott (born February 15, 1953, in Innisfail, Queensland) was an Australian rugby league player for the Canterbury Bulldogs in the New South Wales Rugby League competition. His position of choice was in the second row.
