Nathan Jonas "Joey" Jordison (born April 26, 1975 in Des Moines, Iowa, United States) is an American rock/heavy metal musician. He is best known as the drummer and member #1 for the band Slipknot. He is also well known as the guitarist for Murderdolls, a glam metal/horror punk band which he founded in the 2000s, that is currently on hiatus due to the Murderdolls' members' main projects.
In 2006, he was the drummer for the industrial metal band Ministry. For the most of 2007, Jordison took over the drumming duties for the nu-metal band Korn (he is seen in their video for "Evolution") before going back to the studio to work on Slipknot's fourth studio album. He also did the drumming not only for Korn but also Metallica at the Download Festival in 2004.
